Hello Friends and Family!

23 years ago this June I was a 7 year old spending her first time at a sleep-away camp. But this camp was special because all of the other children had childhood cancer, like me! Camp Sunshine took us away from the chemotherapy, radiation, and the four white walls of our hospital rooms. We were away from the doctors appointments and reminders that we were different from everyone else; this was our chance to be ourselves again. I finally learned to ride a bike at the age of 18, something I never thought I would be able to do - but Camp Sunshine gave me the support to do it!

Camp will be IN-PERSON (!!) this year for campers who can safely attend. I will not be able to go but I know of many campers and counselors who are anxious to be back. 

I am setting a goal of $2300 to honor my 23 years of being with the Camp Sunshine family and I hope you can help me to reach this goal! Whether it's $1, $5, $23 or $100 all of the funds go towards camp and providing our campers with the best programs possible.
