Welcome to My Fundraising Page!

I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 3. I underwent Chemotherapy and went into remission about 2 1/2 years later. Soon after I went into remission, my parents heard about a camp called Camp Sunshine, and my life hasn't been the same since.
Camp Sunshine is a camp for kids who have or have had cancer. I first started going to camp at age 6 and it was amazing to get to meet people who knew and felt exactly what I went through. These people became my lifelong friends. Camp Sunshine impacted my life so much that I contiuned volunteering there even after I graduated at 18. I have volunteered every year since, because I know how much of an impact that it makes on the campers first hand.
Cancer is terrible, but camp gives these children a chance to be themselves and have a regular fun filled week. It is a distraction from the hospital visits, shots, and the constant being told 'no'. There is no obstacle that they cannot overcome, and there is nothing that they cannot do while at camp. Please help me to give kids this opportunity by helping donate to Camp Sunshine! Any little bit helps in sending kids to camp!
