Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for taking the time to click the link and check out this wonderful organization. As most of you know I've been involved with Camp Sunshine since 2005. I've been lucky enough to transition from camper to counselor and now a board member. My passion and enthusiasm for this organization continues to grow more and more each year not because Camp Sunshine provides an outlet for these kids and their families, but because of the people who make up the Camp Sunshine family. 

Every year, Camp Sunshine provides a week long 'getaway' for children between the ages of 7-18 to Rutledge, Georgia where they are able to be 'normal' kids and enjoy summer camp activities like horseback riding, biking, finishing, and canoeing to name a few. In just a few days I will meet my new group of girls in Cabin 10! Seeing the excitement on the campers faces and interacting with them throughout the week is one of the most rewarding feelings. 

This is my EIGHT year participating in raising funds for Camp Sunshine through the Keencheefoonee Road Race (the road that camp is on). After two years, camp is back IN-PERSON this year and we cannot wait to see the campers. As the state of the world continues to change, one thing remains the same -- Camp Sunshine's determination to continue to enrich the lives of children with cancer. If you are in a position, I would greatly appreciate your support this year so we can ensure that programs in the future can bring the campers together.
